In a slow week filled with studying and packing, everything finally began to sink in. As my study abroad journey in Florence came to an end, I found myself reflecting on how grateful I am for the incredible people I've met and the unforgettable experiences we've shared. From sharing nearly every flight, every bed, every meal, and every memorable moment, we truly bonded and created a unique and wonderful circle of friendship. I will forever cherish the time we spent together and the memories we made on the way.
The Last Supper
On the final night of the boys all being together for one last time in Florence, we decided to celebrate the only way we knew how: with kebabs. Kebab had become a staple in our diets, a go-to meal for many of us during our time abroad. Costing just €6, this heavenly creation was often the answer on nights when we didn't feel like cooking or needed something quick and satisfying. Aside from McDonald's, kebab shops were the only places reliably open after a long night out, making them a lifeline for college students like us.
